Verdi's Requiem

April 22 - 2:00 pm - Benaroya Hall

Few pieces in the repertoire offer the drama of opera, the grandeur of a large chorus, and the thrill of wonderful symphonic writing combined with stellar, virtuosic solo moments.  But Verdi’s Requiem does all that and more.  Join us for this one-time-only performance.

Master Chorus Eastside combines talents with the Everett Chorale, Sacred Music Chorale, Cantare Vocal Ensemble and the Sammamish Symphony for a full afternoon of memorable music-making!  Each participating group will perform individually on the S. Mark Taper Auditorium state in the magnificent acoustics of Benaroya Hall.  Then, in a fittingly splendid finale, the combined artists along with special guest soloists Janeanne Houston, Michaela Martens, Timothy Janecke and Andrew Martens, 300 voices and instruments strong, in an unforgettable presentation of Giuseppe Verdi’s stunning masterpiece, Requiem.

Only proceeds from advance ticket sales go directly to support MCE, so don’t wait until the day of the concert to get your tickets! Order by phone at 425-392-8446.
